About the role:

As a Project Manager I, you will lead projects within the Endoscopy Project Management group. You will collaborate cross-functionally, cross-divisionally, and internationally to drive strategic projects or programs that are critical to business continuity. This role will focus on leading multiple efforts across the Sustaining Organization, helping to drive to meet business objects, Quality system and Regulatory requirements around the world. You will work directly with Sustaining Leadership to identify and assess new opportunities, playing a key role in managing the overall portfolio of projects.

Your Responsibilities will include:

  • Effectively lead moderately sized project teams ensuring good cross-functional communications and alignment to ensure timely completion of the project or task.
  • Generate and implement project plans, communications, and schedules to assist with task prioritization and workload adjustments.
  • Build team ownership and commitment to project plan and identify, manage, and communicate project risks.
  • Prioritize, delegate, and manage tasks among team members as appropriate to drive execution of project deliverables and minimize risk.
  • Interact with senior personnel on complex matters requiring coordination between organizations.
  • Prepare and deliver project status updates to management.
  • Document project meeting minutes, issues log, decision logs, metrics, and other key communications.
  • Manage individual project challenges and recommend solutions to address them.
  • Ensure current BSC policies and practices are followed, and accurate documentation requirements are followed.
  • Identify resources required for project activities, develop project budgets, resource allocations and timelines.
  • Partner and collaborate with a variety of functions, regions, and business resources to achieve project objectives.

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Engineering or Business and 5+ years of work experience in product developmentOR
  • Master’s Degree in Science, Engineering or Business and 3+ years of work experience in product development
  • Demonstrated project management experience leading cross functional teams and managing project scope, schedule and budget
  • Excellent organizational skills, interpersonal skills, and strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Strong Emotional Intelligence, situational leadership, and ability to manage by influence
  • Results-oriented, positive attitude focused on delivering timely, accurate and best in class execution
  • Comfortable communicating to and presenting in front of all levels of the organization
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications

Preferred qualifications and competencies:

  • Experience in the medical device industry
  • PMP® certification desired
  • Technical or engineering background
