Solid academic and industry track record in Polymer Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. Postdoctoral research related to battery materials is a plus.
Strong background in polymer synthesis, modification, and characterization techniques.
Proven expertise in designing and implementing coating processes for polyolefin base membranes, with a focus on functional separator development.
Experience in developing binder materials for anode electrodes in lithium-ion batteries, including knowledge of binder formulation, electrode processing, and performance optimization.
Proficiency in a range of analytical techniques such as SEM, TEM, FTIR, XPS, NMR, DMS and electrochemical analysis for material characterization.
Demonstrated ability to independently plan, execute, and analyze experiments, as well as troubleshoot technical challenges.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate within multidisciplinary teams and present findings to stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving skills and a creative mindset to drive innovation in separator and binder materials.
Experience in battery research and a comprehensive understanding of lithium-ion battery components and performance factors are advantageous.
