Required/Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting /Finance, or related field AND 2+ years accounting or finance experience
  • OR Master's Degree in Business, Accounting /Finance, or related field AND 1+ year(s) accounting or finance experience
  • OR equivalent experience.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting /Finance, or related field AND 5+ years accounting or finance experience
  • OR Master's Degree in Business, Accounting /Finance, or related field AND 3+ years accounting or finance experience
  • OR equivalent experience.
• Professional accounting certification such as CPA or equivalent.

• 5+ years of related work experience, preferably with a mix of tech companies and public accounting; Software and Technology industry is a plus

• US GAAP knowledge and experience with emphasis on ASC 606

• Ability to collaborate and be comfortable dealing with ambiguity, influencing across multiple complex organizations, and creating effecting partnerships

• Business partnering and cross-group collaboration skills with higher-leveled audiences

• Financial, analytical and communication skills, including presentation of data

• Self-starter that is well organized, adaptable, and able to multi-task and work well under pressure

• Serve as a subject matter specialist for revenue recognition under Accounting Standards Codification (ASC) 606, providing accounting guidance and consultations to business partners across the company

• Work with Finance, Business Planning, Business Operations and others to assess product roadmap and launch plans for appropriate revenue recognition

• Support the product launch process by identifying and providing revenue recognition requirements, and highlighting risks and potential system limitations

• Operate as a key contributor to the evaluation of revenue recognition issues, including writing accounting positions

• Prepare and present training to business partners

• Provide advanced knowledge and prowess to special projects and other ad hoc requests
