The role assesses and anticipates HR-related needs and serves as a consultant to management on human resource-related issues. The Senior HR Manager Commercial will be responsible for executing initiatives associated with the full employee lifecycle in the areas of talent management, organizational effectiveness and design, performance management, employee relations and compensation for assigned groups.
In this role, you will…
Play a key role in helping to shape and drive the talent agenda supporting business goals for assigned groups. Specifically, you will provide HR leadership, skill and proficiency in working closely with business leaders, teams and global HR colleagues to identify people opportunities, strategies and solutions to challenges within the business as follows:
- Work closely with the assigned business groups to ensure an effective HR strategy is in place, that support the business goals
- Conducts Organization Development interventions
- Supports the organisation’s Talent Management philosophy by ensuring all employees are aware of the learning & development resources and opportunities provided; work on Talent Reviews and Succession Planning for the region and ensure the right programs are in place to support employee performance & growth
- Facilitate learning, development and team building programs in partnership with O&TD area.
- Analyze trends and metrics to develop insights, solutions, programs and policies.
- Coach, advise and manage complex employee relations issues.
- Respond to employee requests and inquiries and, when necessary, direct employees to relevant policies or documentation.
- Partner with employees and managers regarding HR issues, HR processes and guidelines.
- Partner with managers in career planning, performance management, coaching, data analysis, compensation and rewards, employee relations, talent management, and development.
- Execute Align’s human capital strategy surrounding organizational design, leadership, capabilities and culture.
- In support of an organization’s talent management strategy, work with the business to close gaps via training and/or developmental opportunities.
- Participate in and/or lead miscellaneous projects and programs that may involve other functional areas of HR.
- Ensure proactive Performance Management, handling any Employee Relations items that arise; mitigating any legal risks to the organization by ensuring smooth exits where necessary
- Provide direction to employees and with regards to Company policy and guideline interpretation and execution of procedures and decisions in accordance with Company policies; ensures the right policies are in place for the regions in the remit of this role
- Collaborate closely with Compensation & Benefits to ensure the LATAM philosophy is effectively applied, while adjusting for local requirements
- Ensure the right talent is brought into the business, by working closely with the Talent Acquisition team
- Responsible to maintain accuracy of HR data for employees, and provide suitable metrics and analytics to the business

In this role, you'll need…
- Minimum 10 years of Human Resources experience in a fast paced, high growth, dynamic business environment; tech industry experience highly desired
- BA/BS or equivalent experience; MBA and/or PHR certification desired
- Outstanding interpersonal and influencing skills; demonstrated ability to develop relationships and influence at all levels within the organization
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written along with savvy PowerPoint skills; excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills especially when faced with complex and ambiguous situations
- Solid experience in employee life cycle management from orientation to termination
- Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to influence without authority
- Experienced and dynamic facilitator who can connect with and lead audiences at all levels of leaders.
- Exposure to compensation programs such as merit, bonus, sales incentives and stock programs.
- Ability to multitask effectively and prioritize work based on demand; highly organized and have strong problem-solving skills.
- Results driven, self- starter and autonomous with high attention to detail and sense of urgency.
- Must be highly customer-oriented and have a successful track interfacing with employees at all levels
