Description
- Support product form-factor definition and close architecture and technical gaps early in projects- Drive Product Fit definition and align program objectives with engineering, research, design, and leadership- Leverage experience for data analysis and statistics to guide project direction- Act as the voice of Audio Fit across forums and interactions.- Communicate status across a wide-ranging audience through written and verbal communication- Manage Product Fit program plans including schedule and budget from early concept through product validation
Minimum Qualifications
- BS/MS degree in Mechanical, Biomechanics engineering, or equivalent
- At least 7 years of experience working in product development from concept through validation. 3 or more years in program management
- Experience working with a highly cross-functional team on product incubation and/or product definition.
Preferred Qualifications
- Excellent communication, collaboration, organizational, presentation and leadership skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to effectively manage complex, ground-breaking incubation and validation strategies
- Deep understanding of collaborative work throughout new product development; able to navigate uncertainty and changes in direction
- Experience in delivering products or technologies with cross-functional and competing dependencies requiring end-user testing and validation
- Experience in data analysis and clear presentation of research outcomes
- Experience in relevant user-facing or scientific research is highly desirable, including interfacing with human factors, biomechanics, or other human research groups
- Experience interfacing with cross functional teams including Mechanical Engineering and Manufacturing, Systems Engineering, and Industrial Design
- Thrives in ambiguous situations and driving closure across multiple cross-functional teams
- Self motivated and proactive with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $165,500 and $293,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
