This role is responsible for managing risks, issues, and conflicts related to plan execution and therefore requires a thorough understanding of enterprise data governance concepts combined with practical experience of implementing them in a complex organisation. The role also requires excellent communication skills in order to influence and advise senior stakeholders.

What you’ll do

  • Liaise with senior stakeholders across Lines of Business and Functions to design and execute against Transformation plan commitments, drive alignment on execution steps and timing, and/or support adoption of enterprise approaches and guidelines for use by the Use Cases teams.
  • Develop and implement strategies to ensure clear cross-functional communications and set expectations, and to drive effective and efficient design, build, and rollout of data practices, capabilities, and tools.
  • Provide guidance and advice with stakeholders across lines of business, regions and functions (e.g., sharing best practices, educating on consistent approaches, helping with interpretation of enterprise guidance).
  • Analyse and identify overlapping initiatives to resolve duplication of efforts.
  • Monitor and communicate progress of the plan, anticipate risks and issues, and challenge execution teams’ plans to identify roadblocks, and dependencies.
  • Lead representative of the Finance Data organisation for the International business.
  • End-to-end management of the delivery of Finance Data solutions supporting regulatory and business objectives prioritized by the International business.
  • Engage as key point of contact for other Finance functions dependent on the Finance Data function by representing those functions in Finance Data Strategy and Prioritisation forums.

What we’ll need from you

  • Experience in a complex, financial organisation, with a particular focus in Data Governance.
  • Expertise in one or more the following core financial services segments preferred: consumer businesses, commercial businesses, and UK regulatory reporting.
  • Expertise in one or more the following core financial services segments preferred: consumer businesses, commercial businesses, capital markets, finance, risk, or compliance.
  • Demonstrates consistent track record of having worked as a Programme or Project Manager, or working on large, strategic cross-functional projects.
  • Data and technological knowledge, covering recent topics such as Data governance and Operating models.
  • Strategic mindset, who can see ahead to future possibilities and translate them into breakthrough strategies.
  • Communicates effectively, develops and delivers multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences; able to drive consensus, and influence relationships at all levels.
  • Can effectively lead change in an organisation with Citigroup’s size, scale and complexity;Experience leveraging the processes and principles of change management to drive organisational change, defining change criteria, providing support and education, managing resistance, and measuring outcomes.
  • Manages through ambiguity by making sense of complex, high quantity and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems.
  • Understanding of the overall regulatory environment and previous experience working with regulators on data plan execution, preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Citi’s Data Operating Model preferred.
  • Experience using data analytic tools SQL, Python and Tableau preferred.
