As the Sustainability Practice Lead, you will also work across markets locally and nationally to offer expertise and insight into the rapidly evolving fields of decarbonization, sustainability, and climate resilience in cities. You will build and expand relationships with clients in sustainability and climate sectors including water resilience, waste and recycling, clean energy, sustainable transportation, and multi-benefit and urban climate resilience projects. You will understand how policymakers at national, state, and local levels are confronting challenges related to climate and how these efforts create opportunities around infrastructure. You will also contribute expertise on funding sources and strategies for sustainability and climate resilience projects.
In this role, you’ll drive client outreach strategies and relationship development actions, identify key pursuits and lead positioning and delivery efforts. Working with other members of the team, you’ll share in the development and growth of our internal structure which promotes autonomy and allows for great opportunities to deliver local projects across our infrastructure markets in California.
Hybrid – two to three days a week in the
Los Angeles or Irvine, Californiaoffice.

You'll build upon your understanding of the Water Market and Sustainability field and organize and develop teams to pursue consulting & advisory, planning, design, PMCM, and alternative delivery work.
You'll lead client service teams and project teams for existing and new clients across the State of California, helping develop and implement our broader Water market growth strategy through direct, in-person and virtual interactions with client organizations.
You will lead or support building strategic win-win relationships with other consulting firms and contractors as partners.

- Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree.
- At least 10 years of progressive experience in capital improvements with a specialty in Water and Sustainability projects.
- At least 10 years of management experience; developing and leading project teams.
- Experience developing strategies for growth including brand development.
