Creating a world where Healthcare has no limits… requires a Workplace Without Limits. GE HealthCare is looking for a Summer Intern to join the GRE Team and report directly to the Global Real Estate Workplace and Facilities Transformation Senior Manager. Intern will support with ongoing Workplace and Facilities Transformation efforts, including the development of a workplace standards playbook, and gathering spatial requirements and considerations from global stakeholders. Intern will support with ongoing pilot programs and analyzing feedback to drive business decisions on the future of work.Open to hybrid work in Waukesha, WI or Chicago, IL.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Report directly into Global Real Estate Workplace and Facilities Transformation Senior Manager
  • Collaborate with global real estate portfolio and facilities stakeholders to understand and gather current workplace requirements and office configurations
  • Support with the evolution of global guidelines for spaces and technology, and the development of a global workplace standards playbook
  • Analyze and aggregate feedback from workplace surveys and stakeholder interviews in order to develop recommendations and future standards and requirements
  • Support with ongoing workplace pilot programs
  • Prepare presentations in support of global leadership reviews
  • Get exposure to multiple facets of corporate real estate
  • May lead small projects with moderate risks and resource requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled from an accredited university or college
  • Course experience or previous internships in real estate, architecture, finance, economics, and/or strategic planning

  • Strong interest in commercial real estate, specifically in workplace strategy and planning
