Responsibilities of this position include leading a team of Country and Commercial managers, demonstrating exceptional leadership abilities, driving tactical actions as well as strategic initiatives requiring an individual with strong leadership skills and deep commercial experience. For the day-to-day, the role will require strong business acumen in interpreting results, providing market insights and the development of reports and metrics. At the planning level, it will require confidence in operating both independently, as well as working at a cross functional level to articulate, influence and promote development plans.
- Leads the commercial strategy and execution plan for key markets- Co-ordination of best-in-class Country Plans produced by the Country Managers- Prioritise market and program offerings and expansion planning at the country and partner level. Lead GTM efforts to consolidate end to end programmatic and customer experience requirements- Support the identification and development of new digital partnership opportunities- Identify and develop segment programs in partnership with WW functional and program leaders- Drive plans and initiatives to address challenges and opportunities and be able to articulate requirements to senior leadership- Coordinate and drive non-capex offer initiatives. Interface with Product Management on Business requirements
  • Extensive leadership experience including leading leaders.
  • A strong knowledge of the functions and levers associated with a retail business, including the ability to interpret and enable business insight
  • Proven experience in delivering best in class, customer focussed experiences in market
  • Extensive local knowledge of consumers online and offline behaviour in market (researching, purchasing, support, etc)
  • Extensive local knowledge of payments and fulfilment landscape
  • Demonstrable passion, and experience of, leading a high-performing commercial organisation with a commitment to people development
  • Ability to analyse competitive offers from both a commercial and customer experience
  • Team worker with a demonstrable track record of working within and across functions.
  • Comfortable with matrix organisations and dealing with ambiguity.
  • Excellent analytical and reporting skills
  • Experience of developing consumer focussed offerings, leveraging key internal and external partners.
  • Experience with budget development for both Opex and Capex requirements.
  • Excellent time and project management skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Fluent in English, with local languages valued.
