Qualcomm is looking to hire a Senior Accountant within the Qualcomm Technology Licensing (QTL) Accounting team to work with various departments within QTL as well as various corporate finance functions to support complete and accurate financial reporting. This is a hands-on role performing tasks related to revenue recognition and the financial close process, including:

• Reporting revenue, accounts receivable, and customer incentives, including contract review to ensure proper accounting treatment

• Preparation and review of balance sheet and cash forecasts provided to Corporate Finance and Treasury

• Support the month and quarter-end close processes, including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations and quarter-end reporting schedules and coordination with QTL Finance regarding revenue estimates

• Review of customer credit analysis

• Support of internal customers, including QTL Finance, Compliance, Legal and Licensing Managers

• Leading process improvements and automations

• Support SOX requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree.

• 2+ years of Accounting, Finance, or related work experience.

*Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration/Management, or related field.

• 4+ years of Accounting, Finance, or related work experience.
