The Ernst & Young's Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) practice is a specialty that provides accounting, IFRS reporting, market risk management, regulatory and treasury advisory services to financial institutions and other capital markets participants. FAAS includes individuals who have industry, client and product knowledge as well as quantitative, regulatory, project management and technology professionals.
– Financial Services Industryteam with the following qualifications;
- A relevant university degree, preferably in finance, business administration, industrial engineering, economics or a related discipline; an MBA or MSc is an asset,
- min. 3 years of relevant experience in Audit or Advisory services with a focus on banking/capital markets at a Big 4 company or comparable experience working as an advisor to a financial services company,
- experience in the project management and team management,
- hands on experience with banking and insurance sector is an asset,
- strong analytical and problem solving skills and demonstrated knowledge in accounting and reporting standards,
- experience in MSOffice applications,
- broad project management skills, effective written and oral communication skills,
- ability to converse with counterparts at financial institutions regarding IFRS reporting, international accounting and reporting standards and economic capital topics and current practices,
- Male candidates must have fulfilled or postponed their military service obligations.
Job Description
Advise financial services industry clients (especially Banks and Insurance companies) on a number of accounting and financial reporting related topics. These areas include:
- Preparing IFRS reports,
- Applying IAS 29 effect on financial reports,
- Supporting banks and insurance companies on their financial reporting processes,
- Regulatory reporting,
- Assurance services on certain regulatory processes (i.e. Tier I-Tier II issuances),
- Assistings banks on their capitaladequacy requirements
