Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for delivery of end results and resource planning; shares responsibility for resource and people management which directly impacts the Middleware Technology Infrastructure area
  • Lead, evaluate, provide resources and drive Middleware team towards realistic goals
  • Apply knowledge of concepts and procedures to resolve issues
  • Apply technical expertise to resolve middleware related incidents/major incidents and serve as point of contact for technical questions
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of how Middleware Infrastructure integrates within the overall technology function in CTI to achieve business/functional goals
  • Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and/or other team members.
  • Ability to manage virtual teams and collaborate with various business stakeholders at all levels.
  • Provide monthly status updates to senior leadership team (Risk, CTI, sector leaders).
  • Identify and seek approvals for additional resource requirements to support VTM governance forum and drive actions under analysis and remediation CAPS.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in a technology infrastructure role with experience in people and project management and middleware infrastructure technologies
  • In-depth knowledge of the tech stack software (WebSphere, Node.JS, NGNIX, Tomcat, IBM HTTP Server, etc.) and their prerequisite components (clients, Java, OS utilities) on the targeted servers, preferably within Financial services or large complex and/or global environment
  • Technical expertise on repositories (Bit Bucket/Git) and the associated promotion processes to support the application team’s Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) across Dev, UAT and PROD environments
  • Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication with ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience
  • Proven ability to develop projects required for design of metrics, analytical tools, benchmarking activities and identification of best practices. Ability to partner with virtual and in-person teams, define goals to a team, and work under pressure or to a deadline
  • Proven analytical, diagnostic and multitasking skills with focus on execution and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to both work independently and partner with virtual teams in a high-pressure matrix environment
  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership of various parts of a project/initiative with tight deadlines or unexpected changes in expectation/ requirements


Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
