IBM L3 Support Development Engineer

You will work on various z/OS software products like ALCS, REXX, DITTO, GDDM, SDF II, Data Set Commander, Comm Server for DCD, and HOURGLASS to assist customers with product enhancements and product integration. You will investigate client reported problems to determin root cause and resolution, as well as design, code and unit fixes.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 8+ years of software development experience.
• Basic knowledge of assembler language.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• z/OS Mainframe 3-5 years or more experience.
• Basic knowledge of COBOL, JAVA, PL/I.
• Knowledge of Network Protocols.
• Knowledge of Data Set storage and access method protocols.
• Experience in one of the following products: ALCS, REXX, DITTO, GDDM, SDF II, HOURGLASS, Data Set Commander/PDSMAN, Comm Server for DSD
