As an experienced Product Manager for Data & Insights on the Copilot team, you will balance creativity, curiosity, technical expertise and passion for AI to drive projects to successful completion. You will collaboratively work with data scientists, AI researchers, engineers, designers, and product managers to take ambiguous projects and mold them into amazing experiences to delight our customers. Your products enable language models that power Microsoft Copilot. You will be responsible for driving the product vision and strategy, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define requirements, prioritize features, and ensure successful product launches in a fast-paced setup. Your role will involve ensuring privacy, safety and security of data, stakeholder management, and the ability to make data-driven decisions that align with the company’s goals.

Responsibilities
- Own a product area and be responsible for understanding user needs and behaviors, defining product requirements, managing end-to-end product development, launches and iterations.
- Spin the Data Flywheel: Enable qualitative and quantitative data insights from billions of data points to uncover issues and opportunities and share recommendations to lead to direct product improvements. Work with AI teams and feature teams to transform learnings into direct model improvements.
- Orient the Success Metrics: Influence our NorthStar metrics (successful sessions, active users, revenue, etc.) and how we measure the success of Copilot.
- Evangelize learnings to drive impact: Share Data and Product Analytics Insights as part of your stakeholder engagement
- Orient the overall Copilot product strategy: Use metrics and insights to influence the broader Copilot product roadmap.
- Find a path to get things done despite roadblocks to get your work into the hands of users quickly and iteratively.
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced, design-driven, product development cycle.
- Translate business goals into strategy, user experience and technical requirements in close collaboration with Data Engineers and AI model training teams.
- Define goals and performance indicators, set up and oversee experiments, measure success with data and research.
- Collaborate effectively and communicate clearly with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to build exceptional consumer-grade applications.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree AND 8 years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development
- OR equivalent experience.
- Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on actionable insights, coupled with outstanding communication abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree AND 10 years of experience in product/service/project/program management or software development
- OR equivalent experience.
- Experience with data analytics and experimentation tools. Experience with SQL and coding skills (Python, Javascript).
- Experience leading product teams building consumer products in personal productivity, search, education or messaging.
- Experience building consumer products leveraging Machine Learning or Large Language Models.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing requirements and deadlines.
- Proven ability to collaborate and contribute to a positive, inclusive work environment, fostering knowledge sharing and growth within the team.
