What you'll do

As a Software Engineer you'll play a crucial role in designing, developing, and enhancing our cloud-based Finance, Real estate and sustainability solutions with a focus on Designing and AI integration. Join us in creating scalable, robust software to meet evolving business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define, co-develop, deliver, and support real estate & sustainability solutions based on business requirements, priorities, and performance constraints
• Assess solutions from SAP`s sustainability portfolio with an emphasis on carbon emissions data
• Understand Line of Business demands, challenge requirements in terms of business value
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into cloud-based sustainability solution architectural designs, incorporating AI solutions
• Assess solutions from SAP`s portfolio with an emphasis real estate and sustainability
• Continuously expand your capabilities in terms of training your skills, growing your knowledge & improving your professional behaviors
• Always give your best to act according to SAP’s How We Run and Lead behaviors
• Show a high grade of motivation and in realizing solutions and processes in a new environment that is ready to be explored further

What you bring• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field, studies in sustainability or environmental science are a plus if you also bring a technology background
• 4+ years of professional experience in an IT, Development, or Consulting environment as consultant and/or developer preferably with a Real estate or /and sustainability focus
• Solid understanding of SAP Finance and SAP Sustainability solutions and business processes
• Environmental Management: Knowledge of regulations, frameworks and systems for sustainability, e.g. EU Taxonomy and ESRS, the Greenhouse Gas Protocol and carbon emissions calculation mechanisms is a plus
• Experience in one or more of the areas below:
• ESG Reporting solutions (such as SAP Sustainability Control Tower);
• Climate Action solutions (such as SAP Sustainability Footprint Management and/or SAP Environment, Health and Safety Management);
• Circular Economy solutions (such as SAP Responsible Design and Production);
• Social Responsibility solutions (such as SAP EHS, SAP S/4HANA for Product Compliance;
• Analytics or data tools (such as SAP Analytics Cloud, Datasphere and PaPM).

• Fluent in English language
