As our Workplace and Facilities Lead, you will oversee all strategic and tactical aspects of our facilities and workplaces. You will be responsible for forecasting space and future facilities requirements, negotiating with brokers, agencies and contractors, and creating workspaces that reflect Fireblocks values.
You’ll be:
- Update and execute long-term facilities strategy, including guiding strategic space planning to support future business needs; leading Request for Proposal (RFP) process to select future facilities; overseeing large construction and renovation projects and all installations and refurbishments
- Manage activities and/or vendors associated with parking, building security, waste disposal, electric vehicle chargers, service contracts, catering, janitorial services, landscaping, etc.
- Lead lease negotiations and renewals by working with internal management and Landlords/Property Management teams
- Develop the facility's workplace experience guidelines for all Fireblocks offices, creating a positive workplace experience in-office and remotely.
- Oversee the Tel Aviv workplace operations, space planning, and workplace project management working regularly with business unit key stakeholders.
- Ensure the office's effectiveness, including but not limited to keeping all office equipment up-to-date and managing installations and repairs.
- Serve as the Tel Aviv onsite and senior global point of contact for vendors, including catering, cleaning services, electricians/plumbers, and all contractors needed to run the office. Research vendor options and aid in the negotiation process.
- Coordinate with the Employee Experience & Welfare Manager to assist with on-site event coordination, including A/V, catering needs, cleaning, and security.
- Ensure that the workplace supports the health and safety of all employees and visitors and that all activities are in accordance with local laws and codes.
- Support all project and workplace planning teams for construction and move projects.
- Recognize opportunities to reduce maintenance expenses and ensure documentation and contracts are organized and systematically reviewed.
- Manage all service contracts such as shipping, security, pest control, and cleaning.
- Provide workplace budget preparation and financial planning.
You’ll bring:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 10 years of facilities management experience
- Experience working with different stakeholders across the enterprise to meet company goals and objectives
- Experience developing and managing significant budgets, including capital budget justifications
- Excellent verbal, and written communication and presentation skills as you will be collaborating with diverse stakeholders, such as general contractors, project teams, designers, contractors, and senior leadership
- Experience conducting Request for Proposal (RFP) process and negotiations with Landlords to select optimal locations for future facilities
- Experience leading and overseeing office renovation & design projects
- This position requires the candidate to work on-site to manage multiple projects, and travel as necessary to oversee global offices.
