Job responsibilities:

  • Develops a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customers
  • Manages discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap
  • Owns, maintains, and develops a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition
  • Builds the framework and tracks the product's key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability
  • Deeply understand parent and kid money needs and habits – with particular attention to life moments that drive the need for Chase’s solutions
  • Develop a business strategy to fuel the next generation of Chase customers by empowering kids, and their parents, to learn money basics and adopt behaviors to start their financial journey
  • Identify opportunities and conduct research (design, customer, market, competitor) to understand and address customer needs and develop key insights to inform strategy
  • Partner with marketing on acquisition initiatives to grow our youth customer base and on the implementation of engagement strategies to drive increased usage
  • Develop field execution, seasonal graduation campaigns, and training & communications plans to empower branch-based bankers (in partnership with One Chase and Field partners)
  • Lead customer-first and influence across functions, including Product Development, Marketing, Field/National Sales, Ops/Customer Support, Risk, Compliance
  • Partner with Analytics and Finance on measurement and executive reporting on progress toward our OKRs and priorities

Required qualifications, skills and capabilities;

  • 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area of business / marketing / product ownership, strategy or consulting
  • Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
  • Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
  • Experience, financial services experience with a focus on digital and/or retail banking AND/OR educational or childhood development product experience
  • Strong business acumen and an analytical mind that can operationalize the strategy effectively
  • End-to-end problem solving (defining problems, structuring and building quantitative / qualitative analysis, etc.)
  • Outstanding communication, storytelling, and presentation skills
  • Track record of leading cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional levels of success
  • Strong collaboration skills in a highly matrixed organization environment
  • Bachelor’s degree, advanced degree or equivalent work experiences
