You willdevelop technical solutions, tools, reporting and automation to create performant gameplay spaces of, and to many levels of performance requirements. You willexpand your knowledge and skills atsolving complex technical problems and enjoy deep collaboration and responsibilities across the environmental focus tech art spaceRoles at our studio are flexible, and you can work from home up to two days a weekand Fridays,in this role.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Graphic Design, Digital Arts, Technical Art, Game Design, or related field AND 4+ years technical art or industry-related design experience
    • OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Graphic Design, Digital Arts, Technical Art, Game Design, or related field AND 3+ years technical art or industry-related design experience
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years experience using related software and packages (e.g., Autodesk Maya, MotionBuilder, 3D Studio Max, Adobe Creative Suite, SideFX Houdini, Zbrush, Substance Suite).

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirementsisrequiredfor this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to, the following specialized security screenings:
    • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will berequiredto pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • +years experienceworking with game engines (e.g., Unreal Engine, Unity, Frostbite, proprietary engines)
  • Experience shipping 2+gamesend to end.
  • Demonstrating yourpast successto work effectively with multiple teams and stakeholders, managingconflictingpriorities.
  • Ability tolearnskills ad hoc to supportdisciplines across the art team.

Responsibilities
  • problems related to level creation, such as content,lightingand shading issues,
  • game performance and memory usage and generate reports
  • Work with artists toidentifyand solve technical problems withnew orexisting tools
  • Work creatively and technically in both DCC and game engine workflows.
  • Develop technical and creative solutions to solve performance and production issues while executing artistic and game vision.
