Here's what you'll need
  • To be degree qualified (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline
  • Have achieved or be working towards Chartered Engineer or other relevant professional qualification with accredited bodies, eg CIHT, ICE or TPS
  • A creative, solution-oriented individual with a strong technical background in traffic engineering, urban design or inclusive streets
  • Feasibility and concept design development of walking, cycling and public transport infrastructure
  • Knowledge / understanding of LinSig, Junctions and VISSIM microsimulation software, data requirements and the interpretation and presentation of modelling results
  • Experience overseeing the delivery of models in accordance with TfL’s Model Auditing Process
  • Excellent report writing, presentations and workshop delivery skills, with the ability to draw on a variety of tools to communicate complex issues concisely and effectively
  • Flexibility to manage your workload, support and mentor colleagues and assist with new business opportunities and be aware of emerging trends and the future evolution of the industry
  • Experience of project and client management, covering program, resources, finance and quality
  • Promote thought leadership, knowledge sharing and staff training
