Working for an Analytics Manager, this individual will be responsible for day to day reporting and ad-hoc insights and analytics. Insights will be related to digital activity, marketing, and sales funnel behavior. They will feel at ease querying and extracting large datasets from various sources, merging and transforming raw data into usable data and analytic structures, loading transformed content into storage for current and future use, recommending and documenting key metrics and indicators to utilize, building and automating reporting and BI outputs, and conducting quantitative analysis.
This individual will also work to build strong and effective relationships across various analytics teams, digital business partners, and technology teams to determine data requirements and definitions are supporting the business needs in the most appropriate manner.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as applied mathematics, economics, statistics, engineering or equivalent work experience
3-5 years of experience in reporting and business intelligence, demonstrating a progressive increase in responsibility and scope
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced Degree
Advanced user of analytics and BI tools & techniques to perform analysis and interpret data – some examples are: SQL, SAS, R, Python, Excel, Alteryx, Hadoop, etc.
Expert user of analytics data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
Expert in visual storytelling and presentation, including PowerPoint and other presentation tools
Demonstrated project management and organization skills
5-7 years of experience in reporting and business intelligence, demonstrating a progressive increase in responsibility and scope
Strong communication skills and ability to present complex information concisely through written & verbal communication; experience hosting conversations with business individuals
Experience with Adobe Analytics or similar web analytics tool, or experience with web tagging and mining raw data from these systems
Experience with reporting out of Microsoft Synapse in an Azure cloud environment
Ability to promote agile methods and ways of working to better collaborate and deliver results to our customers
Experience in financial services with knowledge of products, customers, transaction and interaction data, including source systems a big plus
Demonstrated understanding of database architecture and BI tools and structure
Ability to work and thrive in collaborative work environment as well as independently to drive results
Impeccable attention to detail, while being comfortable with data ambiguity
Demonstrated ability to influence change across a complex organization

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
