Responsibilities:
- Dealing with reactive issues with eBay High Value customers via inbound and outbound email mainly
- Possibility to expand communication channels, like Phone and Chat to make outbounds for taking care of customers’ account health proactively
- Build and sustain an extremely high level of skills centered on sophisticated customer handling and superior communication
- Express a significant capacity to troubleshoot all products related to the eBay platform and clearly offer solutions or recommendations
- Own customer issues to the point of resolution, keeping customers updated throughout
- Ensure all information related to customer issues is logged and tracked
- Provide a quick and thorough understanding of customer priorities & identify key improvement areas. Understand our customer needs & act with the customer in mind
- Be an advocate and ensure satisfaction of the High Value customer group
- Provide up-selling, cross-selling and account retention services as directed or needed
- Interact with internal partners, advisors, policy makers and technical teams to assist with speedy resolution
- Achieve Quality, Satisfaction & Metric driven Targets as set out by Team Leader
- Use discretion and deliver timely judgments with the primary goal of resolving the client problem and retention of a satisfied customer
- Perform related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of customer support experience and call handlingin an offiice environment.
- Native levelwritten and verbal Japanese essential
- Business level written and verbal English essentia l
- Customer orientation and ability to adapt different types of characters
- A proven ability to deal with challenging customers and situations
- Must be proven performer in achieving metrics
- An excellent communicator with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment and a willingness to pitch in where needed
- Proven problem-solving skills and experience in delivering practical solutions
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- A high degree of flexibility, team spirit and independence
- Technical skills: familiar with working on the Internet with a solid understandingof MicrosoftOffice programs such as Outlook, Excel and Word
- Must be able to type 25+ words per minute
- General understanding of eBay - it is an advantage if you are a buyer or seller on eBay
- We implement hybrid work: It is mandatory for employees to work1 day/week on-site.WFH is up to 4 days/week. Full remote work option is not available.
- We implement staggered time where employees can vary their start and end times between8:00 – 10:00 AM and 5:00 - 7:00 PMrespectively.
- Relocation would be needed at the candidate's expense if the s/he lives afar from our office in Tokyo.
- Foreign nationals must already have the work visa/status at time of application.
- Must to take background check before joining eBay Japan.
- The compensation will be custom-determined based on the individual's experience.
