As a Strategy and Business Development Leader here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in driving Honeywell Building Automation's (BA) growth and portfolio transformation through organic, M&A, partnership, and divestiture priorities. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to drive growth, profitability, market expansion, and capital deployment across strategic areas of focus. You will be involved in leading the M&A process at BA, identifying potential acquisition targets, conducting due diligence, negotiating deals, and overseeing post-merger integration activities. Your strategic vision, leadership skills, and ability to navigate complex business environments will be essential in achieving success in this role.You will report directly to Sr. Director, Strategy and M&A of BA and you'll work out of our Gurgaon, India location on a Hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will have a significant impact on the success of our BA’s portfolio transformation including driving organic growth as well as M&A priorities. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze market trends, identify growth opportunities, and develop strategic initiatives. Your strategic planning efforts will drive business growth, enhance operational efficiency, and position our organization as a leader in the industry.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and execute strategic plans to drive growth and profitability

• Conduct market analysis (primary and secondary research), competitor analysis, customer and macro trends and identify growth opportunities; continuously monitor and analyze developments

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategic initiatives

• Identify attractive areas for M&A and capital deployment; develop strategic thesis and gain approval from CDRB / investment commitments for capital deployment

• Lead individual workstreams in M&A diligence with a focus on commercial activities

• Develop compelling written communications (white-papers, PowerPoint) to gain alignment and approval for multi-billion dollar capital deployment

• Drive operational efficiency and process improvement initiatives

• Develop long-term strategic and financial plans for multi-billion dollar portfolios

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field

• Minimum 8 years of experience in strategic planning or related roles for Sr. Manager / 5 years experience for Manager

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
