Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the commercial strategy for territory, taking into account industry/regulatory requirements, market trends and client requirements
- Client meetings, presentations, and preparation of RFP/RFI responses
- Exceed Individual sales quota
- Develop and nurture strong client relationships in particular with the ‘C-Suite’ and Senior Managers
- Produce accurate revenue forecasting for new business sales and keep an up-to-date pipeline, contacts and visit records in SalesForce CRM system
- Develop an understanding of, and stay current on, the ICE Data Services products and solutions and their application to the market in Asia Pacific and internationally.
- Understand make up of client base and assist sales team in putting in place territory plans to meet objective
- Work with other senior leaders across the globe to drive top line revenue growth.
Knowledge and Experience
- Knowledge and understanding of Fixed Income and Derivatives or strong background in Financial Institutional markets preferred
- Comprehensive understanding of the customer use cases and business
- Proven track record in quota-bearing roles including successful execution of complex sales and negotiations
- Accelerate the sales process, generating leads, managing the proposal process, overcoming objections
- Financial industry or data solutions experience
- Contacts within the financial services industry and good understanding of Asset Management and Fixed Income Institutional markets in their territoryis ideal
- Strong personal integrity and a confident and positive manner
- Entrepreneurial mindset; demonstrates drive, initiative, energy and sense of urgency
- Work effectively in a team-based environment as well as independently
- Desire and flexibility to learn and grow in an ever-changing environment.
