Your Role and Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and communicate the Global VAD Marketing go-to-market strategy across each of the priority areas; Demand Generation for Partners, Progressing opportunities in pipeline, New Partner Acquisition/Expansion & Partner Enablement.
- Collaborate across Geography teams (Americas, APAC, EMEA, Japan) to develop quarterly marketing plans with the Distributors to meet and exceed revenue objectives.
- Dedicated marketing counterpart to Global VAD Managing Directors to partner and create global programs aligned to Channel Sales business objectives.
- Acts as Subject Matter Expert (SME) to both educate and advise the Distributor on marketing resources (inclusive of Co-Marketing) and best practices as well as bring the voice of the Distributor and Partners back to IBM.
- Develop Global Marketing programs (both targeted and at scale) to align to IBM strategic priorities, including product-led-growth, AI for Business, and acquiring new clients.
- Advocate for, influence, and integrate Business Partners into IBM led marketing tactics and events to achieve economies of scale.
- Utilize data and tools to track global VAD performance and analyze results to optimize campaigns.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Experience in the Channel/Ecosystem and background in Marketing.
- Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and within a predefined budget.
- Ability to understand and communicate business strategy and align marketing execution plans to achieve business goals.
- Responsible team player demonstrating ownership and accountability.
- Excellent written and oral English communication skills; the ability to present and communicate ideas clearly and persuasively at all levels including executive stakeholders.
