In this role, the Software Engineer collaborates with cross-functional teams to improve IT service delivery using the ServiceNow GRC module. The focus is on enhancing efficiency and driving continuous improvement. You will stay updated on GRC trends, best practices, and new features. The engineer translates business requirements into effective, compliant solutions.

As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Collaborating with the compliance team to understand requirements, develop solutions, and promote changes to higher environments.
• Engaging with the risk assessment team to address needs and deliver enhancements to the risk module.
• Integrating ServiceNow with external systems like Jira, Sailpoint, and DevOps to resolve issues effectively.
• Communicating effectively with stakeholders, including overlapping with US team hours as required.
• Addressing production issues on priority and assisting the DevOps team with production deployments.

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Have 4 to 7 years of total experience, with 3 to 6 years of relevant experience.
• Have development experience in the ServiceNow GRC module.
• Have experience with any scripting language.
• Have worked on customizing ServiceNow workflows.
• Have a proven track record of delivering high-quality, complex code.
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively.
