Description
Job responsibilities will include:Designing and developing tools for continuous integration.Managing continuous integration configurations.Investigating issues that affect CI availability.Deploying hardware used for testing in our lab, planning and inventory management.Keeping the lab well organized.Collaborating with multi-functional teams to assist with performance investigations.
Minimum Qualifications
- BS in computer science or equivalent and 4 years of relevant experience.
- Strong familiarity with Unix based operating systems, preferably macOS.
- Expertise in Python programming.
- Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, organization and communication skills.
- Developing or deploying cloud based software, using Kubernetes, AWS, Google Cloud or others.
- Experience with managing and maintaining small to medium size physical computing infrastructure.
- Proficient in maintaining and contributing to code bases written in various programming languages
Preferred Qualifications
- Having any of the following are definite pluses for this role:
- Experience working with, and contributing to, large-scale open source software projects.
- Familiarity with Perl and shell scripting.
- Configuration managements tools such as Ansible, Puppet or JAMF.
- Familiarity with C/C++, Objective-C or Swift.
- Experience with Web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Knowledge of application security standard methodologies.
- TCP/IP network concepts and usage of network diagnostic tools.
- Proven experience in quickly isolating hardware and software issues
- Apple hardware troubleshooting.
- Relationship building and technical consulting.
- Statistics and data analysis.
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $165,500 and $293,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
