Required qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Risk Management, Cyber Security, or related field
    • OR 5+ years experience in software development lifecycle, large scale computing, modeling, cyber security, anomaly detection
    • OR equivalent experience.
Preferred qualifications
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Certification, Security+ Certification, or relevant certification.
  • Master's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Risk Management, Cyber Security, or related field
    • OR 6+ years experience in software development lifecycle, large scale computing, modeling, cyber security, anomaly detection
    • OR equivalent experience.
Responsibilities

• Build and lead Microsoft’s end-to-end response process AI Security and Safety response process
• Analyze security & safety issues to determine their root cause, harm category and impact. This includes setting up complex environments and assisting with recommended mitigations
• Lead complex or large-scale security reviews and drive operational security and security incidents.

• Collaborate with a cross-functional team to represent Microsoft with external individuals and organizations reporting AI security vulnerabilities and safety issues.
• Develop, monitor, and analyze key performance data to identify and recommend process improvements and automation.
• Collect and analyze security researcher, partner, and customer feedback to identify and recommend improvements to the end-to-end response process and external and internal engagement.
• Exercise and grow subject matter expertise in AI safety and security, up-stream and down-stream security operation processes, and provide clarity and guidance to others through sharing, coaching, conferences and other means
• Exercise technical curiosity to collect and analyze security data, partner, and customer feedback, and partner across security disciplines to help address security issues, patterns, and trends
• Collaborate and build relationships with the security vulnerability research community
