Required/Minimum Qualifications:

  • years experiencein software development lifecycle, large scale computing, modeling, cyber security, anomaly detection
    • ORBachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Risk Management, Cyber Security, or related field
    • ORequivalent experience.
  • 1+ years of Experience with mergers & acquisitions, technical due diligence, and/or integration strategy, governance, and execution
    • OR experience with threat modeling, NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF), MITRE ATT&CK Framework
    • OR relevant security certifications

Other Requirements:

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check. This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications:

  • 4+ years experience in software development lifecycle, large scale computing, modeling, cyber security, anomaly detection
    • OR Master's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Risk Management, Cyber Security, or related field
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Experience with collecting, analyzing, and reporting security metrics using data querying and visualization tools

Responsibilities
  • Conduct security assessments of acquisition and divestiture environments to identify potential securityrisks.
  • Recommend mitigation strategies to address identified security issues and educate customers on security best practices.
  • Analyze trends across security issues and processes using security metrics to improve workflows, standards, and tooling.
  • Continuously grow cybersecurity expertise through learning and applying those learnings to improve team workflows.
  • Work proactively with other security assurance and tool teams across Microsoft to adopt a unified approach for at-scale security assurance.
