Intel Platform Architect – Foundry Technology Benchmarking

The primary responsibilities for thePlatform Architectwill include but are not limited to:

  • Contribute to the success of Intel Foundry Services across multiple platforms, focusing on the technical competitive intelligence at various levels, from process, device, to foundry base IP's, addressing different market segments and packaging needs. Focus PPACS (Power Performance Area Cost and Schedule) across multiple applications.
  • Create competitive roadmaps and forecasting behavior market dependencies of multiple concurrent competitors at process and SoC level.
  • Diligent competitive analysis, benchmarking and sensing of competitive product offerings andstrengths/weaknesses.
  • Creating and implementing scalable processes, and systems for tracking industry movements and defining Intel Foundry process technologies
  • The candidate should also exhibit the following behavioral traits:
    • Strong analytical skills: ability to analyze complex data and make sense of it to provide actionable insights.
    • Strong communication skills: be able to effectively communicate their findings and recommendations to the team and stakeholders.
Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or in a STEM related field of study with 6+ years of relevant experience, -or- Master's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • 5+ years of experience at a leading-edge foundry or as a member of the process technology team at a leadingIntegrated Device Manufacturer(IDM) or managing technology platforms at leading fabless companies.
  • 3+ years of experience in advanced process technology such as (7nm, 5nm, 3nm, 2nm, GAA, EUV, or FinFet) in the foundry space or technology platforms management at a fabless company.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or in a STEM related field of study. Experience of the foundry advanced technology competitive landscape.
  • Experience withPower-Performance-Area(PPA) targeting for future nodes.
  • Experience in Logic Technology development and working with Foundries is a plus.
  • Experience with 3D-IC offering across different market segment is a plus.
  • Experience with systems and application requirements (e.g., product architecture, key IPs, packaging, design services, ASIC, key standards etc.)
  • Experience with PPA analysis across libraries, memory compilers and competitive benchmarking.
