Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years of senior leadership experience
- Experience with Machine Learning development and evaluation
- Experience with building and shipping products at scale
- Proven and consistent track record of forming senior partnerships to solve complex technical problems at scale, ideally for products with a global customer base
- MS/PhD in Machine Learning, Computer Science, or equivalent experience in a related field
Preferred Qualifications
- Passion for product and customer experience
- Shown aptitude for leading a breadth of product areas simultaneously
- Extensive experience delivering large-scale product or platform outcomes, leveraging cross-functional partnerships
- Proven record of gaining technical expertise on the job; demonstrates the ability to learn new technologies independently.
- Excellent understanding of an ML-based product lifecycle.
- Demonstrated depth of knowledge and application of statistics-based evaluation methodologies or user success metrics.
- Experience with systems engineering; in-depth understanding of interdependencies of ML and SW components.
- Proven innovation record
- Experience leading a team of senior engineers
- Ability to develop a long-term vision and execute strategies at scale while maintaining a grasp of technical details for better decision-making
- Experience delivering or supporting products across multiple organizations, establishing cross-functional partnerships
- Experience with SVP-level presentations and reporting
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $282,000 and $450,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
