As the Director of Technology Operations, Technology Cost Optimization, you will play a critical role in shaping and executing cost optimization strategies within our Transformation Office. You will drive cost efficiency across our technology landscape, ensuring alignment with business objectives while maximizing value from technology investments. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, financial acumen, and deep expertise in technology cost structures, vendor management, and operational efficiencies.
What You'll Do:
Technology Cost Strategy & Optimization
• Develop and execute a technology cost optimization strategy that aligns with the company’s transformation objectives.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities across cloud, infrastructure, applications, software licensing, and IT services.
• Partner with finance and procurement teams to drive cost transparency and accountability across technology investments.
Transformation & Operational Efficiency
• Lead cost benchmarking and spend analysis to ensure the company remains competitive and efficient.
• Define and implement technology cost governance models, ensuring effective cost control mechanisms are in place.
• Collaborate with CTO, corporate strategy, and business leaders to balance cost optimization with innovation and business growth.
Stakeholder Engagement & Change Management
• Work closely with executive leadership, finance, and technology teams to promote a culture of cost efficiency.
• Communicate cost optimization strategies effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Lead cost optimization workshops and training sessions to drive awareness and adoption
What You'll Bring:
• 8+ years of experience in technology strategy, technology finance, transformation, or cost optimization roles.
• Deep understanding of technology financial management, TBM (Technology Business
Management), and FinOps frameworks.
• Experience optimizing costs across cloud, data centers, software licensing, and IT services.
• Strong experience in vendor negotiations, contract management, and outsourcing strategies.
• Proven ability to drive cost optimization initiatives in complex, global organizations.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in financial modeling, benchmarking, and business case development.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with public cloud cost management (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with ITIL, Agile, or Lean methodologies. • Knowledge of enterprise architecture and IT procurement best practices.
• Master’s in Business Administration (MBA)

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: - Stock
