Key job responsibilities
• Lead a global organization defining and centralizing the Private Pricing Program and S&TP Approvals
• Lead centralized documentation of all Private Pricing deal approval policies (the rules that govern approvals) and processes (operationalizing those rules), while streamlining and eliminating policies and processes that stifle innovation and impact approvals velocity.
• Ensure the Approvals Team upholds Amazon policies, Private Pricing mental models, established approval guidelines, and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross functional stakeholders to identify, investigate, and resolve existing deal approval policies and process escalations, blockers, issues, gaps, and pain points that impact deal velocity.
• Leverage your organizational experience, advanced business judgement, and understanding of the impact on stakeholders to drive goals to completion.
• Identify opportunities and define the roadmap to achieve organization-wide objectives while, streamlining or eliminating excess processes.

- 10+ years of leadership experience, managing teams, driving strategic programs, and influencing policy in a large and complex organization
- 15+ years of business operations experience (may include finance, legal, contracts, approvals, or other comparable experience), leading end-to-end transformational initiatives.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
