Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

As a Senior Manager Retail Analytics, you will be responsible for making Europe retail and franchise successful by enabling consistent data and analytics across all impact areas, continuously improve data centric & insight-based decision making and remove duplication of work, as well of creating a hub of data expertise for EU market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop a consistent reporting framework for Europe Retail, in accordance with Europe Retail and Franchise key strategic priorities.
• Innovate processes, procedures, tools, and ways of working by pro-actively identifying opportunities to leverage analytics and technologies.
• Define innovation roadmap, align with Retail SLT, and drive on-time implementation by closely monitoring progress, results, and milestones, proposing solutions in case of delays or deviations from plan; drive decision making.
• Act as a change agent and accelerator for machine-based forecasting as well as other innovative tools / technologies / methods by providing trainings for the Europe Retail community, organizing workshops / learning days, identifying & sharing relevant learning opportunities, etc
• Enable consistent reports for all stake holders ranging from Store teams, District Teams, Back office Retail Leadership Team
• Develop tactical and strategic reporting & analytics for Leadership to drive critical decisions in Retail.
• Create new forecasting and data modelling to identify the marginal gains in the business, particularly:
o Improved NS daily Forecasting to drive conversion/SCM/scheduling opportunities
• Contribute to Europe TRNS4RM to ensure consistency and continuity in Reporting
• Drive maintenance of exiting dashboards and support leadership analytics
• Validates quality of data, creates data models, new reports, views connection. Works with D&A team to continuously improve data quality and availability.
• Proactively share business insights to SLT and relevant stakeholders to initiate actions to enhance Retail and Franchise performances.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• In depth understanding of the underlying internal and external commercial driver model for forecasting within a Retail and/or brand driven environment
• Broad and deep project management skills and experience in larger scale projects and/or change programs/initiatives; Experience in managing difficult and conflictual situations and meetings.
• Compelling storyteller who can balance information requests from senior executives, stakeholders, and cross functional business leaders.
• Ability to think strategically, independently structure, analyze, and synthesize findings / dynamic inputs and develop innovative solutions within an entrepreneurial, fast changing environment.
• Strong ability to collaborate and influence across different levels and departments, internally and externally.
• Proven track record of executing with excellence in environments that require a detail-oriented approach and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities simultaneously under tight timelines.
• Proven creativity and curiosity to identify and solve a wide range of Function/Business challenges.
• Strong analytical skills, managing large data quantities from multiple sources.
• Solid understanding of descriptive statistics and experience in Statistical modelling combined with strong visualization capabilities is a strong plus.
• Comfortable working in a matrix organization, dynamic retail environment.
• Performance / results driven attitude, open to change and act as advocate for the ‘new’, creative, and collaborative mindset.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong people management skills, role-modeling.

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
• University Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or similar qualification
• 5-10 years of operational finance experience within Retail/Fashion and/or brand-driven environment
• Experience in project management and in facilitating workshops.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
