Your key responsibilities
- Serve as Direct Manager and Counselor for the Regional Technology and Talent leads in Japan, Greater China, ASEAN, and Korea.
- Act as a trusted business advisor to Regional EY leaders and stakeholders, aligning projects with the business pipeline and providing exceptional customer service while delivering both brand and quantitative value through cost savings, cost avoidance, and contract value realization.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders and Global Procurement team members to manage the Technology and Talent categories, creating and delivering a strategy that supports the overall global Technology and Talent strategy.
- Work closely with risk management and SRM (Supplier Relationship Management) to minimize contractual risks to the organization and demonstrate year-on-year improvement in quality delivered.
- Responsible for achieving local Global Procurement functional performance targets for Technology and Talent categories, covering Quantitative Value, EVP (Employee Value Proposition), Spend under Management, and Speed to Market.
- Develop relationships with key EY business stakeholders, and report category insights and progress through regular meetings.
- Lead the build and management of a pipeline of Procurement projects in support of category strategy/plan & in collaboration with Procurement leaders and stakeholders;
- Strong experience of working in a Sourcing/Procurement/Supplier Management team in a complex and global environment
- Strong influencing and networking skills as the organization relies on working in cross functional teams across borders
- Lead the socialization of the Procurement and Supply Chain Global Policy and processes, ensuring project teams and stakeholders understand the value of the policy and adhere accordingly.
- Assign, Supervise and Manage Regional Requests for Proposals (RFPs), including commercial contractual negotiations, and collaborate with other business partners, including Legal (GCO), Global Client Serving Partners, and Sector Leaders, on a regular basis.
- Oversee end-to-end strategic sourcing activities in accordance with the Procurement policy, providing excellence throughout the process by analyzing information, setting sourcing strategies, identifying requirements and opportunities, negotiating terms and conditions, and contracting products and/or services.

To qualify for the role, you must have
- 10+ years of experience in Procurement
- A Bachelor’s and follow-on degree in Business or similar discipline is recommended.
- Experience in a category leadership role in Procurement within a collaborative, high-performance environment and deep experience with Indirect Categories, with preference to the Technology and/or Talent Procurement category
- Strong procurement expertise and commercial acumen to drive sourcing and demand management strategies across a broad array of category services.
- Ability to align efforts with key stakeholders and influence these leaders, as necessary, and possess a global mindset.
- Experience with Source-to-Pay (“S2P”) processes and execution of online Rfx and e-Auctions.
- Advanced English and able to lead conversations autonomously.

Ideally, you’ll also have
- CPM (US), CIPS (UK) or similar Procurement certification is welcomed but not essential
- Experience with a global, culturally diverse organization
