• Serve as the subject matter expert in Cisco Security Solutions
• Provide guidance and assist partners in building solutions within their security practice
• Enable partners' pre- and post-sales teams to be successful throughout the sales process, including product Proof of Value
• Deliver solution/technology/product consulting, technical and sales support
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Present and document technical solutions effectively
• Facilitate in-depth and high-level technical presentations for partners and customers
• Minimum 5-8 years of technical sales or pre-sales experience
• 5+ years of experience in Security specialization with IDS/IPS, AV, Firewall, and Advanced Malware Protection technologies
• Experience administering Unix/Linux systems and low-layer IP networking
• Bachelor’s degree in EE/CS or equivalent experience
• Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
• Successful quota achievement
• Proven track record of managing and winning technical and high-value IT security projects
• Experience delivering training courses and prior experience with Cisco/Sourcefire or competitive security technologies
• Experience with programming languages such as UNIX shell, Perl, or C
