Provide advisory/consulting services to Power & Utilities clients, resulting in increased value and efficiency. Translate customer business requirements into high quality solution designs for Oracle Utility products. Develop and recommend solutions and strategies, based on the analysis of customers’ requirements, business goals, objectives, needs and existing systems infrastructure. Analyze software requirements, defines solution parameters and specifications. Work with the Architect and Project Manager to develop a budget for the external design effort. Utilize existing resources to produce design, write pseudo code for complex logic, and verify the result code meets the design requirements. Own the external design and provide support throughout the development and system/integration test phases. Develop detailed, task-orientated estimates to build and implement extensions or interfaces to the system. Use business process engineering techniques, develops technical solutions and management processes to achieve overall objectives by means of implementing solutions.
Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.
Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Business, Finance or Operations or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience. Alternatively, will accept a Master’s degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Business, Finance or Operations or a related field and 4 years of work experience.Must have 4 years of experience in Oracle CC&B/C2M Utilities.Must have 4 years of experience working with the Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF).Must have 4 years of Software Development Lifecyle experience.Must have 4 years of experience in technical design, including different approaches and plug-in points.Must have 4 years of experience in technical application, including in the delivery process (configuration and code migration, code drops, and fix migration lifecycle).Must have 4 years of experience with at least two of the following development languages: Advanced Configuration Tools, Java, Groovy, or SQL Scripting.Must have 4 years of experience in translating business requirements into IT solutions, including gathering business and technical requirements, solution design and build, testing, and solution deployment.Must have 2 years of experience leading teams of professionals.Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training or experience.
