WHAT YOU'LL DO:
  • Own the development and growth of the Builder journey across owned, earned and paid channels to create awareness of Snowflake community and Developer Relations programs and resources. Success here will be measured by total reach of content, continued action from each touchpoint, and continuous optimization of the developer journey based on user data.
  • Develop, test and optimize growth hypotheses around content types, topics, channels and more to grow our community and user satisfaction with Snowflake resources.
  • Define key metrics to measure and report on the effectiveness of growth strategies, results of experiments and overall performance..
  • Reimagine and optimize our owned Snowflake channels such as YouTube and virtual events in partnership with subject matter experts to improve the user experience and content value.
  • Create a data strategy that instruments all touch points with our community to build a rich single view of our users to optimize Builder experiences by persona.
  • Create the strategy for and manage the budget for paid promotion (display ads, content syndication, podcasts, etc)
  • Collaborate with community and developer influencers to identify opportunities for new technical content, tutorials, and documentation that resonate with developers and encourage tool adoption.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
  • 10+ years experience as a Growth Marketer or in a similar role, preferably within the developer tools or AI/ML space.
  • Technical understanding and a passion for developer and data science communities
  • Proficiency in data analytics, A/B testing, and user segmentation.
  • Strong analytical mindset and a data-driven approach to problem-solving and developing/testing hypotheses.
  • Cross-functional team management and organizational skills, influence without authority, including senior management.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple technical initiatives simultaneously.
  • Must be able to spend three days a week working from our San Mateo office

The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role:

  • The estimated base salary range for this role is $162,000 - $231,000.
  • Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake’s bonus and equity plan.
