Internship: Sustainability Transformation (non thesis)


Your role:

  • Support the our ESG Transformation Team in moderating the Sustainability Community of Practice (CoP) and Center of Excellence (CoE) by actively connecting people with experts, people with people, sharing the right information, and engaging in the discussion.

  • Support the organization and execution of activities such as live webinars, interactive events from finding presenters, preparing practice sessions, promoting the events through posts, to ensuring everything runs smoothly during the sessions.

  • Become the expert of tools that can help Philips employees learn about sustainability, find useful resources, and connect with each other for challenges and best practices. You will also work directly with sustainability experts and advise them to leverage on the power of the Sustainability Community of Practice to facilitate transformation.

  • Collecting and creating content for the Sustainability CoEs and CoPs, and sharing this content throughout the organization using our two main internal communication platforms.

You're the right fit if:

  • Degree in a relevant field like Change management, Business Administration, Environment, Communications, Policy, Sustainability- especially Circular Economy and EcoDesign , Innovation and Strategy, etc.

  • Passionate and knowledgeable about sustainability- especially Circular Economy and EcoDesign .

  • Able to connect complex challenges to the right sources and experts.

  • Experienced with community management, media platforms like SharePoint and Yammer/Viva, video editing and PowerPoint.

  • Able to translate complex technical information into engaging and interesting internal and external communications and be able to interact with diverse stakeholder groups

  • Self-starter, ability to drive actions independently while keeping close alignment with the wider team

  • Project management skills: successfully manage multiple projects/ tasks through to completion

  • Strong interpersonal skills; natural connector and collaborator within the organization and across various stakeholder groups

  • Excellent English verbal and written skills

  • A keen eye and a curious mind, you see synergies and opportunities everywhere
