Responsibilities:
Collaborate with HR Initiative / Data Owners and Data team members to establish Data Governance by Design requirements for new initiatives.
Assess data governance needs for new initiatives or changes to HR applications / processes and develop a strategy to apply Data Governance by Design.
Conduct execution planning, implementation and manage end to end execution for Data Governance byDesign initiatives.
Collaborate with Data Program Enablement team to develop change management strategy and create awareness.
Build relationships with HR stakeholders and establish timely and effective communication to provide status updates to Data Leadership forums.
Ensure alignment and compliance with Citi Data Governance Policies and Procedures.
Provide leadership, guidance, and support to Data Governance by Design team to ensure successful adaptation of Data Governance by Design framework.
Monitor and evaluate the success of Data Governance by Design framework and lead improvement initiatives to enhance process.
Experience:
10+ years of experience in data governance, preferably in the financial services industry
Strong understanding of data governance, data quality management, and data risk management principles
Knowledge and understanding of HR Data strongly preferred.
Proven ability to navigate from current state to proposed solutions while managing stakeholder expectations.
Ability to manage, guide, and develop a high-performing team.
Strong project implementation skills, with experience in managing large-scale projects from inception through to successful implementation, including stakeholder management, scheduling, and resource allocation.
Collaborates effectively by building partnerships and working well with others to meet shared objectives.
Strong negotiation, influencing and stakeholder management skills across a variety of stakeholders at different levels.
Optimizes work processes by balancing effective / efficient processes with a focus on continuous improvement. Demonstrates ability to balance between seeing the “big picture” while paying close attention to detail.
Organizational savvy: understands systems, management processes, knows where to go for information and how to interpret them.
Working knowledge of Data Operating Model practices, Data Governance and Data Compliance within large, financial services firms
Education:
Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred
