What you’ll do

As a (Senior) Quality Engineer (f/m/d) within the Sustainability Integration Development team you will:

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive testing strategies and plans.
• Define test cases, scenarios, and scripts for functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Developers to understand requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Maintain and enhance existing automated test frameworks and identify opportunities for automation in testing processes and develop new automated tests.
• Track, manage, and report defects and work with development teams to ensure timely resolution of identified issues.
• Advocate for and contribute to quality improvements throughout the software development lifecycle by establish and track quality metrics to measure product performance and quality.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to developers

What you bring

• University education in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject as well software academy trainings
• Knowledge of software quality assurance methodologies, tools, and processes
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases as well with automated testing tools
• Collaborative team player, with strong communication skills, passionate about quality, self-motivated and encouraging
• Good written and verbal communication skills; fluent Business English and German
• Proficiency in test automation tools such as Selenium, START, xUnit, UIVeri5 or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience
• Experience in ABAP software develoment is considered as plus
