What you'll do

As a (Senior) Software Developer (f/m/d) within the SAP Sustainability Integration Development team you will:

• Be responsible for designing, implementing, and testing complete, very complex end-to-end software parts for the integration of SAP S/4HANA with Sustainability solutions
• Actively contribute to the whole product lifecycle (Backlog definition, software specification, software design, implementation, quality assurance, delivery, and maintenance)
• Work in an agile development environment which requires to be self-driven, to take decisions independently as well as to be very flexible.
• Identify problems within the current architecture, create a plan and lead the delivery of the technical changes needed to solve them.
• Multiply software engineering best practices across development teams.
• Mentor other software developers and help them to improve their technical skills.
• Align with other teams and agree on interfaces for the integration and gain knowledge about other technologies.

What you bring

• University Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
• Excellent skills with object-oriented programming. Good Knowledge in ABAP, CDS, OData and Web-Technologies such as JavaScript, HTML/CSS is considered as advantage
• Excellent knowledge in software design patterns and software engineering
• Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work result focused in an agile development environment
• Ability to easily acquire deep understanding in new areas and technologies
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; fluent Business English and German is a plus
• Good experience with RDBMS and SQL
• Multiple years of Software development experience
