Job Purpose
- To ensure accurate invoices, adjustments and answers to queries are issued to clients on a prompt & timely basis, in-line with relevant controls; for all clearing, exchange, cash settlement, collateral and delivery fees.
- Supporting the Business to enable new products and fee-changes, through the Billing Config tool.
- Ensure full SOX compliance and record-keeping, with staff and Manager
Responsibilities
- Producing the weekly volume reporting requirements and validation of monthly invoicing.
- Liaising with Grading and Warehouse teams, to ensure accurate monthly billing.
- Taking part in discussions with system developers and the clearing house operation teams to determine the full impact of system and business changes to the billing functionality.
- Reporting test results to system developers and ensuring that further development requirements are implemented.
- Producing and reviewing the upload of new products into the billing system. Liaising with operational and sales teams to resolve issues effectively.
- To assist in the implementation of all system and functionality changes in relation to billing for the clearing house.
- Dealing with customer and internal billing queries ensuring that relevant adjustments are made in a timely manner.
- Produce and reconcile daily and weekly volume reports (CS & PTMS etc.)
- Ad hoc daily and monthly billing duties;
- Ad hoc accounting duties including various reconciliations.
Knowledge and Experience
- Self-motivated and self-starting with ability to multi-task and effectively manage own workload, prioritising effectively and consistently meet deadlines;
- Strong knowledge of excel
- Excellent system skills
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), able to build effective working relationships across the business.
- Highly developed personal communication skills, both written and oral;
- Must be self-motivated and self-starting with ability to multi-task and effectively manage own workload, prioritising effectively and consistently meet deadlines;
- Excellent analytical skills with proven attention to detail;

- Experience with data analysis and reporting;
- Experience participating in projects;
- Billing / invoicing experience.
