People Advisory Services (PAS) Managed Services – Contracts, Compliance and Supply Chain Analyst (L1)

We are seeking a Contracts, Compliance and Supply Chain Analyst. The successful applicant will join a growing Commercial, Supplier Management and Service Quality and Risk Management team within People Advisory Services and will work with Account Managers and internal stakeholders to ensure that the function is (i) producing high-quality contractual documentation, (ii) compliant with all obligations, and (iii) mindful of risk and has in place measures to remove such risk, (iv) responding to the requirements associated with managing a large supply chain, and (v) continuously improving. They will report into the Contracts and Commercial Manager.

The Commercial, Supplier Management and Service Quality and Risk Management team has three main functions:

  1. Contract review and contract management;
  2. Regulatory compliance and risk management; and
  3. Supply chain management.

You will also shape and continuously improve our approach to these areas.

Your key responsibilities

Contract review and contract management

  • Support with review of contracts to ensure (i) compliance with governing contracts, client requirements and EY processes, (ii) risk is removed, and (iii) accuracy and clarity.
  • Project management of contract review requests and stakeholder management.
  • Support and conducting administrative activities to support with contracts and compliance-related matters.
  • Support stakeholders to adhere to internal processes relating to contracting and compliance.
  • Identify areas of risk and engaging appropriate stakeholders.
  • Identify improvements to internal processes.
  • Support management of Central mailbox management.
  • Proactively seek to resolve issues and queries, escalating them where required.

Regulatory compliance and risk management

  • Adhere to EY policies and procedures and support with ensuring EY and our supplier community maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and legislation.
  • Administer and support the contractual and compliance relationship with our suppliers.
  • Support ongoing monitoring of supplier risk management and compliance with contractual terms and EY policy allocated EY subcontractors, including independence requirements, collation of required certification and annual due diligence.
  • Track and report on supplier compliance and assurance testing.
  • Support in the administration of the supplier relationship management activities by preparing and scheduling supplier review forums, supplier events and training sessions.
  • Support with management information reporting and ensure databases are kept up to date.
  • Manage mailbox and ensure timely escalation to management.
  • Liaise with the EY legal, quality and risk management, independence, data protection and cyber security and IT assurance teams on contracting, compliance and risk-related matters where necessary

Supply chain management

  • Administer the onboarding process for new supply partners.
  • Conduct (and/or support with) administration activities relating to new supply partners.
  • Manage governance meetings regarding allocation of supplier to new work requests, including agendas and minutes.
  • Update and maintain EY databases in relation to supplier onboarding and/or other activity.
  • Ensure regular and accurate updating of management information and dashboards.

To qualify for the role you must have

  • Experience in a regulatory or risk-management environment.
  • Experience of processing complex information.

  • Ability to solve problems creatively and pragmatically.
  • Ability to work independently, manage own time and prioritise workload across multiple workstreams in a deadline-driven environment.
  • An understanding and awareness of risk management and regulatory compliance.
  • You will also need to be resident in the UK.

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Contract review and contract management experience.
  • Experience supporting with supply chain management.
  • Experience of drafting internal stakeholder management information to a high standard.
  • Proficiency of PowerBI would be an advantage.
