Key responsibilities: - Supporting Goldin Auctions comprehensive FP&A activities, including business performance, forecasting, budgeting, month-end accruals, and reporting processes
- Manage the top line performance, working closely with sales/operations to understand auction dynamics for volume and cost, with the ability to clearly read out results to business partners
- Responsible for the monthly close process, which includes month end reviews, expense accruals, journal entries, flux analysis and accurate financial reporting
- Partner with integrations team and cross functional partners to manage integration costs for Goldin and eBay
- Build close partnerships to find opportunities to optimize spend and improve profitability across multiple teams
- Drive accountability with business partners, including facilitating deadlines and setting targets that optimize business objectives
- Work closely with Controllership to monitor compliance with GAAP, ensure that the relevant financial control processes are used, and appropriate audit trail is maintained
- Provide and solicit cross-functional support to ensure alignment from Goldin to eBay
- Find opportunities to automate and streamline processes to find operating alignments and reduce administrative burden
Experience and qualifications required: - Dedication to working our hybrid model with 3 days a week onsite at our Runnemede, NJ office.
- 3Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Finance, Economics or Accounting
- 5+ years of finance experience with exposure to different areas (business analysis, accounting, FP&A, etc.)
- Experience with financial systems such as Anaplan, SAP BPC, SAP BW, etc.
- Strong analytical skills including previous experience forecasting and monitoring topline performance, related variable expenses
- Ability to demonstrate data and analytics driven points of view and impact decision making at all levels of the organization
- Strong interpersonal skills and a proven track record to partner effectively with all functions and levels within the organization
- Ability to perform in a matrixed organization supporting multiple partners, working through a high degree of complexity and ambiguity
- The ideal candidate will have robust financial analysis capabilities, including building and maintaining financial models, with a strong technical ability in spreadsheets and presentations
The base pay range for this position is expected in the range below:
$84,800 - $146,900
