Managing the Lugoj site spend as an individual contributor
Deploy lean supply chain management techniques to leverage agility in the supply chain to support the make to order manufacturing operation
Achieve productivity, delivery and supplier quality targets in line with the Annual Operating Plan
Align site supplier strategy with European & Global Commodity strategies
Comply with approved HTS-/Honeywell sourcing policies and procedures
Drive Sourcing involvement in NPI Activities through all phases of the NPI cycle
Support periodic product lifecycle reviews to ensure optimization of product portfolio, component and supply base
High levels of x-functional collaboration to continually improve wider business processes
Lead year over year site-specific supplier agreement negotiations, driving timely implementation
Work with Engineering and Integrated Supply Chain on component and value engineering opportunities and delivery
Qualifications:
Degree, CIPS qualified or equivalent professional qualification ideally
Proven track record in successful implementation of sourcing strategies
Capability to foster and drive change in the organization
Strong organizational and leadership skills in an international environment with the ability to lead and drive projects to completion
Strong skills in buying, negotiation, and agreement / contract administration
Effective team builder and team participant with strong communication skills
Ability to present, sell and implement ideas to various levels both internal and external
Willingness to spend reasonable time on business travel
Minimum 3 – 5 years demonstrated commodity / supply-chain experience in Purchasing in a related industry
Skilled in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and SAP is desirable.
