JOB DESCRIPTION

THE POSITION

The Senior Learning Specialist will be responsible for managing key partner relationships that may be more complex or involve multiple stakeholder groups. This role will also be responsible for effective needs analysis, project management, program support, course development, facilitation and learning program management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the design and development of learning solutions using a blended approach that includes instructor led, web-based self-paced, performance support, coaching verifications, etc.
  • Facilitates instructor-led sessions to medium and large audiences, including enterprise and Business Unit-wide sessions
  • Presents material in-person or virtually, synchronously, or asynchronously
  • Recommends specific training solutions including method and media designed for both immediate and long-term performance improvement
  • Expertly applies adult learning theory and instructional design best practices to:
    • Conduct needs analysis to identify performance gaps and determine root cause
    • Apply appropriate data collection methodologies to needs assessment and evaluation
    • Conduct needs assessments and recommend potential instructional and non-instructional solutions
    • Develop measurement strategies for learning programs
    • Implement robust digital learning strategy to drive leader performance effectiveness
    • Develop project plans including resources and timelines and control project progress and quality of work to come in on time
  • Design and implement train-the-trainer sessions aligned to respective leadership programs
  • This role will design and implement processes to effectively support in-house leadership development programs, and to drive effectiveness across the learning team

YOU MUST HAVE:

  • 5+ years of Instructional Design and instructor-led training experience
  • 5+ years of professional work experience

WE VALUE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience
  • Capable of designing or developing L1, L2, & L3 eCourses
  • Experience using a Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Experience with virtual classroom training platforms (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, etc.)
  • Ability to perform 70% curriculum design/development, 20% facilitation, 10% program management
  • Experience developing eLearning content (Articulate Storyline 360, Articulate Rise)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships with peers, technology partners, business leaders and executives
  • Curiosity and appetite to learn new things
  • Master’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Communication, Organizational Development, Human Resources, or closely related field
  • Proficient to expert with eLearning, video editing, audio editing, Microsoft suite, emerging technologies
  • Ability to work in ambiguity and navigate in a highly matrixed environment
  • Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work independently
