Assist in categorizing, identification, logging (where required) of data concerns impacting Banking and International Data stakeholders
Conduct root cause analysis, prioritize issues impacting B&I Data stakeholders
Participate in solution design, remediation plan, implement effective tactical / strategic solutions, and build effective controls
Provide data concern updates using quantifiable metrics for internal senior management and external stakeholder meetings
Oversee data concerns metrics reporting process from strategic data repositories
Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., technology, finance, risk, and business units) to monitor project status and ensure alignment with Citi’s Data Governance Policy and standards
Identify and address barriers to timely execution, mitigating risks and driving solutions
Work closely with management to drive function-wide initiatives for improving Data Quality and Compliance
Ability to work on big data analysis (leveraging analytical tools, like SQL, Excel, etc.)
Qualifications:
13+ years of experience in Banking or Finance industry; experienced in data management, governance, or quality programs preferred
Experience of working data concern management quality programs (e.g. BCBS 239 program)
Familiarity with Citi’s technology architecture and multiple asset classes such as Banking, Interest Rates, Credit, FX, Commodities, Equities, and Prime is a plus
Strong leadership, interpersonal and relationship-building skills
Ability to balance strategic oversight with close attention to detail in execution.
Strong risk and control mindset, with experience of working with 2nd and 3rd lines of defense functions
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to navigate complex systems and management processes
Proven ability to work effectively with large, complex, and diverse teams
Strong communication skills, with the ability to deliver clear and effective messaging to diverse audiences.
