The Purpose of the Role
They will be responsible to work closely with the End users, channel partners and other project stakeholders as necessary to drive demand to the channel partners.
Responsibilities:
Identify strategic areas for growth and develop plans to maximize additional sales from these opportunities
Design systems in projects and specify Hon products depending on the customer and project requirements
Create BOQs, research market competitors, deep knowledge of product portfolios, benchmarking, creating technical vertical write up materials, being in field as BD visiting consultants, helping them with products selection on daily basis
Responsible for UAE and Qatar regions. Travel will be required as necessary.
Organize, support and participate in product/brand events.
Work closely with technical/R&D teams to ensure product/brand meets local market requirements and ensure there are no gaps in the product portfolio to serve the assigned territory
Main KPI’s:
Sales AOP Target Achievement and Performance against sales growth and profit margin targets
The BDM will be responsible to generate an opportunities pipeline and hand over to the sales manager to convert to revenue
Development and execution of in country growth strategies
We Value:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering – Master’s degree would be a plus
Strong technical and sales background in Security Systems such as Video Surveillance, Access control, Intrusion, IT hardware, etc
This is a Techno – commercial role, requires a person with a strong technical background and commercial mindset to develop strong technical proposals that can meet the customer budgets
Must have at least 5years of Sales and or Business Development experience
Fluency in English, Arabic would be an advantage
Confident with the ability to successfully develop key relationships across key accounts with management level executives
Proven track record and an excellent understanding of the Security marketplace, local regulations (SIRA, MCC, MOI etc) and competitive product offerings
Have a proven track record of selling into the end user market by promoting our product offerings with specifiers
Ability to influence people and win project sales
Must be flexible to travel extensively
