Your Career

In this role, you will be responsible for envisioning, planning, and implementing our entitlement system that drives product activation, consumption measurement, reporting, and case management and more. You will build integrations with other IT and product engineering systems, plan and execute customer migrations, and leverage AI to offer innovative features and increase team velocity.

Your Impact

  • 100% accurate, audit ready entitlement data across all Palo Alto Networks customers and products
  • Delivery of a robust system to manage complete entitlement life cycle
  • Support product activation, consumption, case creation, and reporting
  • Drive velocity improvements to significantly reduce time to market for new product introductions

Key Responsibilities

  • Create, maintain and drive product roadmap for entitlement system and other functions
  • Own the delivery and quality of product specifications including product requirements, project epics and user stories. Own product backlogs to drive continuous improvements and product capabilities and features.
  • Serve as a bridge among functions – business, R&D, IT Architecture, engineering, QA – ensuring seamless product development. Collaborate closely with engineering teams throughout the product life cycle
  • Act as a domain expert and go-to leader within the organization
  • Analyze case trends and engineering escalations to identify patterns, prioritize fixes, and influence the product backlog.
  • Define and monitor success criteria and metrics for the product, including usage and quality measures. Analyze user feedback and refine strategy.

Your Experience

  • 12+ years of product management experience in technology or IT, with some years in SaaS or subscription based business.
  • Experience with entitlement management systems, subscription lifecycle management, usage tracking and metering, billing models, integration with CRM, ERP, and billing systems.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong technical background with understanding and/or hands on experience in software development, databases and SQL, cloud platforms, programming languages, and Microservices
  • Experience building products that leverage AI for natural language querying (NLQ), data quality & governance, automated insights, and diagnostics
  • Experience mentoring junior product managers and contributing to the development of product management best practices within an organization. Few years of team management experience is nice to have
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate product vision, strategy, and progress to diverse audiences. Proven ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership.
  • Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies, with experience leading sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
  • Must be local to the SF Bay area to be onsite

Compensation Disclosure

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected.
