As an experienced video editor/motion graphic designer, you’re a talented and motivated creative professional with the ability to lead and influence strategic visions that help our internal clients solve their most complex business challenges with innovative solutions. You’ll consult with internal clients to understand their objectives including the nature of the video, the audience and the intended message. You’ll perform complex edits to deliver a high-quality video through design, planning and production. You’ll understand all publishing technology and implement video, audio, voice-over production, media integration and podcast development and production. You’ll work with others on the best use, combination, and repurposing of each medium to meet strategic objectives of the internal client.

Your key responsibilities
As avideo editor, you can expect to be responsible for managing the internal client relationship, acting as project manager and single point of contact for the deliverable by preparing budget, timeline, estimate and recording documentation while communicating status updates. You’ll recommend media and offer creative options to enhance the message through audio and video. You’ll review, identify and edit video footage, adding effects/elements (audio, video, colors, animation) to enhance the deliverable using video-editing processes and equipment to put the video in a final format suitable for audience viewing. You’ll function in any creation or production capacity regarding audio/video recording, animations and video graphics, podcast publishing, video publishing for on-demand streaming, webcast encoding and sound editing.
You’ll identify, research and recommend new audio/video technologies, equipment needs, updates, enhancements and procedures through awareness of developing technology. You’ll establish best practices and train team members on effective creative and technical video-editing processes, methods, techniques, and audio/visual equipment and procedures. You may provide on-site video-editing and technical services for high-profile, large-scale national meetings/conferences or webcasts.
As a, you can expect to be responsible for the design and creation of assets, bringing them to life, outputting and delivering high-quality and innovative motion graphic content. You’ll create complex animated graphics and infographics, kinetic typography and pre/post-production video, and you’ll edit raw video footage, adding elements to enhance the motion graphics. You’ll produce project deliverables, specializing in animation, audio and video. You’ll participate in brainstorming sessions to share new design perspectives and lead project teams in motion graphic processes, methods and techniques.
